My name is Robert Bruce, and I’m proud to announce my candidacy for League City Council in the upcoming November 2026 election. I’m a lifelong public servant, proud conservative, and Texas Aggie at heart (don’t hold it against me!). My story with this community began in 2004, when I started volunteering with League City EMS. Over the past 22 years, I’ve served in emergency medical services—as a volunteer, part-time, and full-time professional—answering the call to help others during their most critical moments. I’ve also had the privilege of serving nearly five years as President of the League City EMS Association. In that role, I led an incredible team to support first responders and give back to families in need. During my time as President, I successfully lobbied and fought for hard-earned pay increases for our first responders, ensuring that those who protect our community are properly supported. Beyond professional advocacy, we focused on genuine community action: raising scholarship funds, organizing Thanksgiving meals, and delivering Christmas gifts to local children. I’ve always believed that service is about action—not recognition. In 2020, I returned to League City with my family, because this is where my heart is. Now, I’m ready to serve again—this time as your voice on City Council.
